I think this is a really hard way to gauge the scoring of some defenders this year, defenders like Lloyd, Sicily, Hurn, Simpson & Short who take really large percentages of their teams kick outs will surely get an average of at least five to ten extra points a game.Top 6
Lloyd 103.6
Laird. 102.8
Blakely 101.9
Whitfield 97.4
Simpson 96.2
Mills (if he gets the mid role) 95.2
Next 6 (just outside, av. of 85-95)
Witherden
Sicily
Hurn
Hanley
Newman
Wiliams
Just a prediction, haha
With the new kick in rules I think we'll see defenders always kick it out of the square, the player will want to get the extra meter or two and just about every player will deep down know they get that extra cheap stat which they'll want to capitalize on. A lot of these defenders will already play on before they take the kick in however now they'll play on close to 100% of their kick ins. With out changing their game they can now get a cheap extra two or three kicks a game. That doesn't make it very difficult to get the extra five to ten points per game on their averages.
