StK by another 10 goals in a dominant slick performance highlighted by 2 ex WA boys sharing 8 goals between them in Acres and new cult hero Paaaarker! :)

Game is overshadowed by bizarre mid game invasion on ground by a Naked Scott Watters streaking on the ground with Jonesanaut tattoed on his arse being hotly
pursued by a manic Clint Jones with a lighter! :moustache:

The hive mind predicts that the Saints will find winning form again in Round 3, with a hard earned (7-4) win against the Dockers at Optus Stadium. Healthy wins (11-0) to the Crows, Demons, Swans and Dogs however, mean that we have slipped one spot on the premiership ladder and cling to 6th spot. Other Round 3 matches saw the Lions belting the Power (10-1) for their first win of the season, the Hawks dominating North (9-2), the Pies avenging last years GF loss (8-3), and the Giants delivering the Tigers their first loss for the season (8-3).

The premiership ladder at the end of Round 3 sees the Crows as the only unbeaten side, and they are laughing twice as hard given they also hold Carltons 2019 first round draft pick. The Dockers retain a top four spot despite being put to the sword by an effervescent Saints side. Cats, Bombers, Port and North fans are all licking their wounds after disappointing starts to the season.

Round 4 matches see the Swans on a 5 day turn around, albeit it, at home against a confident Demons side. The Eagles and Dockers face off in a WA Durrrby and Port Adelaide has the daunting task of squaring off against a Tigers outfit that is determined to get back into the winners circle. Ratten will be hoping that the Saints get the chocolates against his old side. In a game that will generate enormous interest the GC hosts the Blues at Metricon.

Great minds.....

1. Sydney
2. Collingwood
3. Geelong - can't not tip them down at Geelong
4. Essendon
5. Richmond
6. Adelaide
7. West Coast - expect a few suspensions from this game
8. Gold Coast
9. St Kilda - optimistic but its early enough in the season that no Mitchell could still trouble them. We should have beaten them at Etihad with a weak team last season so why not a win here.

Saints continue their stunning start with a 100 point shellacking of the hapless Hawks....Agree with BT Paddy snags 7 sausages
and to treat himself after the game snags another 7 sausages! Only downside for Saints is that Josh Bruce kicks 1 goal 9 behinds
and 3 out on the full including managing to knock Dermott Brereton out in the commentary box on the wing with an errant kick
that comes from an inexplicable miss from 20 cm out!

Gee playing the Hawks away at docklands is a great result for us.

Hopefully it gets a great crowd and we can start benefiting from the new stadium deal!

Round 4.

1. Swans
2. Pies
3. Cats
4. Bombers
5. Port
6. North
7. Eagles
8. GC
9. Hawks

My head says Hawks my heart says Saints. Logic can **** off elsewhere.

Swans Vs Demons - The Dees claim another scalp this time in Sydney making the comp sit up and pay attention to the red and blue meanwhile the jungle bells for the swans will be ringing with people questioning where to from here for the Swans

Pies vs Dogs - The Friday night massacre the Pies to flex their muscle and thump the doggies to illustrate the gap between the two sides with the pies rendering the Bont ineffective the dogs have nothing to stop the wave after wave after wave of Magpie forward movements.. the game will be over early and the Pies will get a healthy % boost

Cats vs Giants - the fortress will fall as the Giants out run and out gun the Cats at home with nothing to combat the giants forwards the cats get scored on every time the giants enter their forward line , a last qtr fight back makes the score respectable but the Giants were never in doubt

Bombers vs Lions - the Bombers lose concentration and drop the winnable game going into the game expecting a easy win the bombers physically forget to turn up and the lions pounce to teach them a valuable lesson about needing to be on every game

Port vs Tigers - Tigers do as they please against an uninspired Port... there's something funky about the Power with rumblings things are not quite right at the club and frustrations bubbling to the surface.. Kotchie to publicly shame the team after they put in another uninspired performance

North vs Adelaide - The crows prove to strong for North with the crows multiple avenues to goal proving to hard for North to stop while Norths highly predictable "kick it to Brown" tactic is easily read and dismantled by the Crows

Eagles vs Dockers - in a spiteful derby emotions spill over with multiple spot fire punch on's flaring up during the game the Dockers intentions early are clear " hit the man and hit him hard" Freo win the fight but WCE take home the points

GC vs Blues - billed as the only chance for either team to grab a win the game presents itself with the feeling neither team deserve to win, the little league at half time put up a better display of footy prowess … in the end it will be a frantic final minutes when both teams realise someone has to win and in the end Gold cost just hold on in dull lifeless thriller

Hawks vs Saints - Saints produce some of the best footy they have shown in the last two years to sweep away the hawks in a 6 goal victory Bruce Membrey and McCartin combine for 12 goals as the saints find accuracy in front of goals with the new look forward pressure locking the ball in the saints half .. this game is the game we see the first of many flying Matt Parker screamers
