As well as being annoying in themselves, it seems to me rather unethical that the media are making money out of these little gems given Palmer dudded his workers out of a heap of money when he went bankrupt - but now he has millions to splash on ads and none for them??

He hasn't actually gone bankrupt so having the money isn't an issue... Whether he'll ever have to use any of that cash to fix the Queensland Nickel mess may still take years to play out.

He's having a decent crack though... Prime Time advertising on every free to air channel most nights of the week does not come cheaply. Sadly I think it will have an impact if for no other reason than pure saturation...

The guy is a typical lib. Nice bloke but it has it's own set of morals that are fundamentally selfish. Nothing against the creature but something like that running that country would be for it's own interests and not in the interests of the public. I assume it would want to be loved and would give lots of handouts or other things to win love. But ultimately it's policies will detract from the majority to appease a more wealthy minority. This is why I cannot vote for it.

ALP does stuff for the public to win their votes. This mob and the libs trick the public or slander the opposition to win their votes. ALP are the best of them all.

It definitely is an issue that needs to be raised. But with Clive you need to look at why he's pushing for it. The only reason is for his own monetary benefit.

A lot of farmers have been on the verge of going broke when the Chinese buy the farm off them and then lease it back to them at 5%. Drought, live export bans etc gets us to where we are now.
