We have quite a few players missing there, not just Martin.

Yes but I would consider those guys there our 'core'
Martin is one missing from the core

Nicholls place amongst those guys are a bit random so is Hombsch

The bump in broadcast coverage means SUNS fans throughout the state will be able to view nine games on Channel 7, with all remaining games on 7Mate. Every 2019 Premiership match will also be broadcast live on Fox Footy.

"I think when we get to the end of this season if the people that are really close to the club can say we've noticed a change, and that that change is going to take you somewhere, that's what we're after," he said.

Some games being on the main channel should mean they will be broadcast in HD finally. The 7Mate games will still be SD though...

Gold Coast draftee Ben King settles into new life in Queensland alongside two key Suns

“Mark and Lynne are great people. They have been looking after me and Jack Lukosius. I think we are staying there for the first year, which will be good to find our feet and settle in,” King told foxsports.com.au during Gold Coast’s recent visit to Fox Footy.
“He has a great business mind and a great footy mind, so the dinner time chats have been very interesting.
“Both of us don’t know how to cook at this stage, so they have really helped us settle in pretty well and have been so helpful with the cooking.”

“It is a bit different to everything you read in the media about the Suns. I definitely didn’t know what to expect reading all that stuff,” he said.
“I didn’t read too much into it before I got there. It has been a great surprise. Everyone has just been outstanding, can’t really fault the place.
“I’ve got nothing but good things to say about the club so far, all the boys and the coaching staff have been so welcoming. I can already feel myself developing as a player under all these guys.”

I'm not surprised that we've gone with co-captains again, but I am amazed Touk's not one of them. He certainly seemed to be "thrusting his name in front of the selectors".

From a couple of insiders the fact he was pushing himself may have played against him
You know that kid who always wanted to be House Captain?....like too much??
As I previously posted, either he didn't want 5 or the Club didn't want to give him 5
Either way that's not captaincy material- at this stage.
Let's hope he has a glorious next few years and gets sole captaincy in 5 years time when Dave and Wittsy are on their last legs
