I can see Carlton, St Kilda, Melbourne, Port Adelaide and North Melbourne going with it. Collingwood and Essendon already copied it last year. Melbourne did to an extent.

The whole point of the "mental illness" excuse is that the player gets excused AND the media doesn't find out about the reason the player was excused.

There is zero reason why Jack would be so public about it, especially given the timing of other stories, if it was only to get out of a drug test.

When I read Harley Bennell has a calf issue I automatically think drug strike.
I am avoiding thinking Jack Stevens has a mental health problem = drug test avoidance, but that is now a connection that pops into people's heads.

I also can't help but assume that anyone who gets cleared of rape charges was probably lucky rather than innocent.
If Pell wins his appeal, I will still consider him guilty, just lucky that the catholic church can afford the best lawyers.

Sad, but that's the way my mind automatically operates unless I force myself to think otherwise.
