Whats the best way of playing old PC games?

I want to play the soldier of fortune and medal of honor games. What's the best way to do this? Is there a site where I can download/install them?

For legal versions there is gog.com who make old games compatible and run on newer systems. If the game is abandonware you should be able find it free to download but sometimes you might need to jump through some hoops to make it work on your system.

For illegal versions such as from torrent sites, that will be on you to find.

GOG works super well - would be the first place i would go. the games are cheap too.

Oh man, such nostalgia after you mentioned SoF. Got it burned off a mate at high school and ****ing loved it. Soooo cool and excessively violent for the time, blasting heads and limbs off with the shotguns.

That's how I owned it too! Still remember having a hard time with that stupid helicopter while on the train.
