I went with my son to most of the Broncos matches at Lang Park and ANZ stadium(super league) from when he was around 9 years of age in 1994 until we saw the light and switched over to the mighty Lions in the late 90s, we are both excited about Saturday night, he is now only 2 years younger than I was in 1994 when we used to go to Lang Park.

Every year someone comes from a fair way back to become contenders - think Bulldogs, Melbourne, Port Adelaide - no reason this year it won’t be the Lions.

I think with Bulldogs and PA they had experienced lists at the time didn't they. So they would have been underperforming when they were down. With Melbourne, it hasn't been all of a sudden, it has been a gradual Climb. Looks like we are following the Melbourne model.

Huge news if these snippets are true.
Last year when West Coast were without Kennedy they went 6 wins, 5 losses. They had only one loss for the year when JK was in the team.

They did play us without JK last year, but compared with that team they are without Cripps (3 goals) maybe Rioli (1 goal) and LeCras (who averaged 2.3 goals again against us)

That was my thought. Recalling his best games from his U18 year were playing in defence, but an under age Lukosius made him loom second rate when the Allies played SA. Hoping it's Brander on Hipwood and Hippy does the same thing.
