If we have improved, we need to win or lose under 3 goals....no excuses

Every week?

Last year

Wondering how the Crows felt when they got spanked by the Demons, 91 points

Pies losing to Hawks by 34

Tigers losing to Crows 36

Dogs losing to WC 51

Etc, etc

Think your expectations are unrealistic, for any side, let alone ours

McGovern was fine, built into the game and had a genuine impact. No 2nds for Mitch.
It took him almost 40 minutes to get going, and he and Fasolo did not make up for McKay's absence when he had to ruck and ride the bench.

His overall impact was below average, and he could have built his form in the VFL match, along with Fasolo.

Really hope Kruezer is fit.

Good on Phillips but seriously a big difference in output between the two.

Agree with you, Phillips was out of his depth , but he was not too bad overall.
Nankervis is a very much underestimate talent and a great get by Richmond, Sydney's loss as with Newman and Sam Fisher for us.
Swans just have too much talent, Agrestia was an excellent pick for our recruiting team.

He had 11 1%'ers, the most on the ground and ran at 100% disposal efficiency with 91% game time.
He also clearly had a role to nullify dusty when he was playing forward and did a bloody good job.
I swear some people just have a hit list of players and pot shot them no matter how they play.

Is a common thing with defenders to underrate their games.

Plowman does a lot of good spoiling work that goes unnoticed. As the 1%er stat shows.

The next 4 weeks will be a good indication of where our game is at and our development

Port, Swans, Suns, Dogs

Agree with you, but we should not be to harsh or hasty, most AFL teams take at least 5 to 6 weeks to settle and get trotting into new season.
We need to ascertain, Marchbank, Willo, Macredie , Lang and Kennedy and pray tje Krooz is up to it, to have a better gauge.
Stocker and Sam Fisher and a few others, later part of the season in preparation for 2020.

Don't agree with lumping his performance with Fasolo's, who was significantly inferior.

There might be merit in Fasolo going back, definitely none in Mitch going to the VFL now.

As I said, that's what I would have done for round 1.

Spot on.

I agree. However sometimes Plowman goes up for a spoil when not required, often leaving his man free once the ball hits the deck or is crumbed. I actually notice this a lot with our defenders and is especially unecessary up the ground and frequently leads to an opposition fast break when a couple of guys get loose on the outer because of it.

Additionally one of my biggest pet hates is the double fisted spoil. It's actually harder to get good purchase on them. Single fist or mark, if dropped it hits the deck anyway.

Maybe its a stretch and im happy to hear otherwise but really I think we should (and could) be 3-2 after round 5 at a minimum
This..
Most of the nellies that were trash talking our team last night need to understand that the tuggers are a great outfit (sigh) as Bolts said it took them 6-7 minutes to win that game A few at the beginning and few in the last to put us away ..
We matched them for the rest of the game ,panicking and fumbles cost us dearly..

Agreed. Key will be to keep that same intensity and mindset for the rest of the season.
Other teams aren't going to be as good as Richmond and we should be a bit cleaner because of this, plus the maturation in the group.
