sorry if you read this in the other fred..not a lot of time to make the call and want as many opinions as possible before I decide.

currently rollin with Collins at D4, Menagola F2 and a bank of 60k.
was thinking of going Collins to Moore and leaving Menagola at F2.
but after Newmans game last night is it worth holding Collins this week, Downgrading Menagola to help build a bank to go Collins to NewMan next week?
or is 1 game not enough to get all hard about Newman?

can down grade Greene at F4 to Moore and Oliver to Cogs at M3/4 and will have bank to up Collins to Newman net week if he kills it again.
only real risk is bringing in Moore over Greene. both Risks anyway... does this make sense?

I wouldn't be down grading Menegola for a possible repeat from newman. Too risky.
Greene to moore are both risks so the risk is just moved

I wouldnt waste 3 trades just to bring 1 player in.

Mate, we're one game into the season, don't throw months of planning out for mid pricer who had a good first game at a new club.

I just think this year with most goin mid priced in defense..we really need to get them right early or be left behind.

well worth considering....fwiw I think 90 is stretched to the max for Matho. 80 more likely imo.

No trades unless injury hits. If you are content with your side going into round 1 then one bad game from a couple of players first up shouldn't result in hitting the panic button.

Looking back on my own history, there is only one time ever that I felt justified making a corrective trade as soon as round 1 was over.
I had Luke Bruest in my F3 position heading into 2014 for the entire pre season. On the day of the opening game of the season I decided for some reason that Chris Mayne was a better choice. He averaged 92 the year before with that immense tackle pressure and beautiful goal kicking he was once known for. Mayne that night pulled out a 55 while I had to watch in both joy and disgust later in the weekend as Bruesty helped himself to a 140. Corrected that as soon as it was possible. Punky ended up averaging 14 extra points than Mayne that season too.
