He's an editor for Endemol, the production company that makes most of the reality tv shows in Australia, hence he has access to all the footage for the episodes he works on, plus is privy to some behind-the-scenes decisions/conversations (like them trying to edit Trout Pout to look better than she was to lessen the public backlash she'd get)
