What a match, what a show. Even if Ciampa wasn’t there to put him over, they’ve still done a great job to keep the long term booking and making this win feel important.

That was stupidly good. North American championship maybe the only thing that could uncharitably called a weak spot.

- Tag titles: If you don't think Hanson and Rowe are the most out and out entertaining guys to watch on the roster at the moment, you're wrong. Great right in the feels moment with the bow as well.
- Riddle/Dream: I can see what they're going for here; I just can't get on board with Riddle's character. Made him look like an absolute beast though, which I guess is what they were going for.
- UK Championship: Down to this or the Tag Titles for match of the night for mine. Haven't watched a huge amount of NXT UK and I'm clearly missing out. If they're promoting Dunne they need to use him like they use Joe on Smackdown; just have him turn up and start straight up murdering people. If they develop WALTER right, they're eventually going to have a Lesnar replacement who actually gives a shit - would love to see him paired with Heyman down the track.
- Women's: Liked the Kairi/Io dynamic (baseball taunt!) - feel like they need to piss or get off the pot WRT ending Baszler's run though.
- NXT Championship: Brilliant, but (as everyone else has said) tarnished slightly by Johnny God-mode at the end. Given that this was make-shift booking, I'd put my money on Cole getting a run come Takeover LA/Chicago/whichever is next.


8/10 overall for me.

What a great show. Match has to be Walter vs Dunne, followed by the tag team match. Richochet and Black make an unexpected but awesom tag team. Also enjoyed the Cole vs Gargano match, along with the Riddle vs Dream. The weakest match was the four way women’s match imo.

Yes it was good, Belair is going to be a great wrestler. Her last championship match was better, especially the spot where she used her hair, like a whip, was very inventive.

Didn't realise Gargano only wrestled on the main roster for one week in February. Thought that was permanent. Holding this until Ciampa comes back then they resume whatever the tag team plan was? That plan will be in the bin by the second half of the year because Vince.

Have read/heard he has little to not interest in leaving Europe. Is also head trainer at WXW. Agree he could be great on the main roster as a big bastard unstoppable foreign heel who is actually there most weeks and wrestles a lot.

The thing I liked in the Dunne Walter match was, the second time Pete went for an aerial, he sorta botched it, BUT it worked perfectly as unlike the first time, Walter capitalised and punished him for it.
Made it more realistic than those perfect moves that setup a counter.

he's better served being a big fish in a small pond like NXT UK, where majority of the performers are smaller so he looks more physically imposing.

Wasn’t Riddle suspended in UFC for constantly breaching D&A tests, notably for his use of marijuana?

That’s what I see his character, personality, a stoner guy, that for the most part is chilled and relaxed. Basically another character from Bill and Ted.

I think that he has the talent to have a great career. His MMA submission style is unique, his in ring work is quite good, he does have that look that Vince likes, his mic work is ok, think he has the adability to change and reinvent himself, so I do agree, has the potential to be a good heel or face.
Overall imo he has a lot of potential to end up being one of the greats.
