Funny how we are screaming about nothing having changed yet we are only 3 goals down in a game where most cannot see any positives.

Clean up our disposal and we are a real chance. We are killing ourselves with our disposal.

As soon as we stop bombing it long and start lowering our eyes we kick 2 goals quickly.

What do you know?!?

WHY for 45 minutes have we been stuck behind the ball with nobody to kick to? Is this s will thing? A coach thing? A fitness thing?

Looked really poor structurally.

The backs had no one to kick it too...i reckon a big part is our mids tiring and not running hard enough to spread and create an option.

We look good when we go up the guts and direct to our leading forwards...why the **** go around the boundary so much?

In general, apart from the 1st quarter, our forward structures have completely fallen apart, we are playing into the Swans hands with the way we are kicking into our F50.

Would be nice if our small forwards could put some pressure on Sydney's backs as well...if McKay doesn't mark it the ball has been bouncing straight out right up the middle.

Pretty sure thats how it works. You got to have more win their position and you win. Real simple maths.

Except the good teams - and Sydney today, execute a gameplan of having people outside for chain handballs to break the contest, and hard running for lateral options and uncontested possessions. They’re not about just each person winning their position. Much more about team execution than individuals. They have their Kennedy for our Cripps, but it’s what the others are doing in their movement at the contest which breaks it up.

Not just simple maths.

If the game opens up we could pinch it, they'd have to be fresh surely, they've just been chasing tail all day, but the game is on Sydney's terms, real congested, just the way they like it
