Felt all week that we were going to lose this game. Gold Coast defence was 10 times better than ours this game and it doesn't help that our inside 50 kicks have gone back to long bombs with the occasional short kick that misses the target

Seems to be that the loss of all those players at the Suns has sparked a surge in them similar to what happen at dogs for 2015. Unfortunate that dogs couldn't replicate last week but sounds like Suns Deserved that win.

One of the more frustrating games I can remember. Just when we'd get the momentum, we'd find a way to **** it up.

Set shot kicking back to our woeful worst, and it looked like the Suns covered the ground better than us for the majority of the game as well.

It's certainly not panic stations just yet, but I suspect there will be a few changes for next week.

Edit: I notice Eddie continued banging on about the Suns being the youngest team in the AFL... Witts, Miles, Hanley, Murdoch, Hombsch, Harbrow, Swallow are all pretty experienced players. Not sure on stats for the two teams of 22, but I'd expect the Suns to be more experienced on the field today.

Really ordinary loss. Massive lack of intensity from the first bounce until 10 minutes left in the last. Didn’t deserve to win and a real momentum killing loss. Had a good opportunity to get to at least 4-1, now we’re back with the pack.

Liberatore was fantastic. Back to his best and was an absolute terrier on the inside. Thought Suckling and Daniel were really good off half back.

Our forward line entries were back to its terrifying worst. Absolutely butchered it going forward. 66 inside 50s to score 68 points. Yuck

There’s the season gone, I don’t think this group can recover from a performance that bad. The first quarter was as bad a quarter as I’ve seen from a bulldogs side. It’s amazing to think they got ahead of themselves after winning two games.

After quarter time - where Bev can actually enact a lot of changes, he coached in a way to get us back into the game.

We played like shit and wasted opportunities. Bev was not "out coached"
