It’s happened before. But wasn’t there a case in the last couple of years when that opportunity was denied by the AFL tribunal?
My memory is a little dusty pardon the pun! But I think they wheeled out some bullshit about the player who was hit couldn’t be a reliable witness due to impact or some shit.
