Watching port dismantle west coast tonight is a blueprint on how to play them. The eagles almost play a soccer style game with ball to the feet of he striker who then lays it off to the runners. Eagles chip and pass to fwds coming at them and then dish off to runners at the right moment. Most teams hang off and guard space allowing the eagles an easy free uncontested mark, port are up their clackas all the way and aren’t giving them any time. Perfect example was that htb and goal against Ryan

I wish I could pick up on these things when I watch the game! I have tunnel vision and can't work out shit. 😜

pressure will always play a massive role in this game. Cant wait to rub Judd’s smug face in it after he slagged us off a few weeks ago intimating we are old news and haven’t moved with the times. ******* Carlton is moving with the times and we’re being left behind get ****** campaigner lol

Tonight’s result shows it just takes an off day and you’re toast. Wce are very beatable have always thought that
Wet weather is not West Coast's friend, didn't help their cause and certainly helped Ports style of play.

Huge upset.
Had the feeling it might be a Steven Bradbury last-man standing type year.
No clear discernible favourite.
Premier might emerge from off the radar.
WC was the only team I feared.

**** you’d be tearing your hair out if you were a Port fan.Thry were awesome tonight but next week??
Can have all the rule changes you want all it’s done is suck teams in, pressure is still king and always will be ask Bris, Norf and Eagles this week what happens when you don’t bring it.

okay help me out here.

I feel at this point like collingwood should be strong flag favourites. more than any other, they have the look of a team that's ready to go all the way. the balance, the belief, the discipline, the talent, the energy. like us in 2018. but with a much more controlled style of play.

it makes me sick to my stomach. to my very core. I hate them so much. I was barracking for the lions as hard as I would for the tigers last night.

and maybe it's the prelim/R2 trauma or recency bias, but right now I can't see us beating them this season, especially sans rance.

this is an open invitation to convince me otherwise.

Yep, I agree. Hate to admit it but they are the one team I absolutely do not want to play in finals (same as last year). I had West Coast as most deserving favourites but after getting smashed by Port I'm not so sure.

Need help? No worries...

It's April!

History is littered with clubs peaking way too early - just look at us in 2018, Adelaide in 2017 etc.

There's a long way to go.

true, true. I guess my fear is mostly grounded in collingwood hatred. seeing them play good footy, ever, sickens me.

can only hope they fall to bits (again)
