Have had a really good response as to player availability so should be a good representative of the talent in the league bar a few. Last we player Golden Rivers was 2017 where we won by 94 points at Murrabit.

2016 a 70 point loss. Need to string a couple of wins together to get away from the bottom which I am sure with good player buy in we are more than capable of. Cheers fellas.

As much as it pains me say this, Duncan and Milne are two young blokes who have both had a crack at better footy and could still be playing in another league. These are two fellows who love their clubs and the game and want to see the game grow at district level so that our towns have sport to offer in the future. If you are privileged enough to be nominated to train for Interleague please give Kasey and James the respect that they deserve and make a commitment.

To those that might not know Avenels coach Kasey Duncan and Murch TOL ex coach and current player James Milne will be in charge of this years KDL inter league side. Just hope as many players possible make themselves available.Ultra you may correct me but I’m sure the game is played at Shepp East against Golden Rivers is that correct mate

Gig has finally broken their long drought of losses to lancy with a narrow win over the bats The game was a real arm wrestle with the bats just in front for most of the day but in the last few minutes gig started to play their best footy for the day. Probably a little more class in the end was the difference

It will be the year before Thomo switched from Lancy to Gig, they won the night of a function that he attended with his then girlfriend, now wife

Should be back next week after doing a hammy against Avenel in rd 1 They really missed him today roota as he just thrives in these types of games in front of huge crowds as it was today

Yeah well said swoop. Both didn’t dominate but they definitely showed that they will be a class above when they settle in. It was always going to be hard for them coming into what was there first game with a new team and a different standard to what there both use to. And it’ll take gig a couple of weeks or so to find the best suited structure that will win games of football

Barnes was clearly at a different level. Was speaking to him today and he said he found adjusting to the ball delivery, having to get it yourself and the congestion a real challenge at times.
