She doesn't strike me as that good to be worth so much from her highlights but at least it looks like she knows where to be to get on the end of a goal, players that can kick a few goals in a game very important in low scoring AFLW games... welcome, hope you can lead us out of the wilderness...

Maybe I saw the wrong highlights. But she kicks goals and that's what we need. Big cost though but need the leadership.

I take that back, she has kicked 3 goals in 17 AFLW games... and seems to be a midfielder/key defender. But the highlights clip I saw had her kicking 4 goals in an AFLW practice match. I probably shouldn't comment as I don't know much about her.

She looks big and strong and to be an Australian goalkeeper must have very good reflexes and to win 2 best and fairests in a Carlton side with a few big names and considering what we paid she must be pretty alright. I just haven't seen enough to comment authoritively. But it's good to get a big marquee type name on board and look forward to seeing what she brings to a side that hasn't really had a big name do the business yet.

She is one of the best players in the comp where the gap between the best and worst is far greater than in the AFL

Next year they will add both her and Molloy only really losing two good quality younger players

With Brazzil as the natural intercept defender it will allow us to play one of Molloy or Davey forward of the ball and the other strengthening a somewhat shallow midfield.

Even though we are giving up a string of lower picks, it is the pick 2 that is the big one. The lower picks are hit and miss and we could well get some pearls from lower down anyway

At this stage I think getting Davey for the second best 18 year old victorian was a good get. We need leadership, experience and size
