It's only if you come straight out of the afl, without playing elsewhere, if it's your local team you go back and play for your junior club you are a 1 pointer even if you are straight out of afl

Playing a year in the VAFA doesn’t reduce your points. Bottom line and unambiguously he played a senior game in 2016! He’s a six pointer! Tat through obviously a good case to the points committee were able to get that reduced to five!

A players playing history for the previous 3 years is applicable regardless of whether it is direct from the afl or if the player has arrived via another club.

Can someone just blow the points/cap system up for God's sake??? In other news the clash at kyabram tomorrow night should be a cracker. I still dont know what is wrong with a game when the sun is out....it tends to work a bit better than lights.
Hey ringo
I see in the shepp news Echuca have named Stewart
That the kid out of the thirds ?
Also valentine named at CHF
If he can monster that position you a slight chance

Yep ...Jackson Stewart, the son of Cameron, the ex senior coach. has pace and ability but is pretty small. I cant see Valentine there..Faulkes will be at CHB and I would expect Valentine to be beside him on a Flank. Byrne , Willis or Allan will be at CHF. And whilst I'm on this if clubs just named the correct side it would be awesome. Under lights in greasy conditions I'd expect the anti-social KY side to win this game.

Echuca by 3 goals.

Should be a cracking game at Ky Saturday night!! Will probably be the grand finale preview but you never know. I reckon it will be a tough and tight contest all night and then Ky will break away in the last and win pretty comfortably in the end. Kyabram by 47

We’ll be very social after the game Ringo. Players aren’t out there handing out birthday invitations;)

Had the opportunity to watch the game between the Shepp swans and Shepp Bears , ball movement was quick between these 2 smallish sides and the overall skill level was up and down with lots of turnovers The swans are a vast improvement on last year and so they should be with some good players returning to the club, where last years premiers have lost up to five of their very best players and that is obviously really hurting them As for the swans a bit more accuracy in front of goals today and they could have made a reall game of it

Yeah inaccuracy hurts us today especially kicking 2.6 in the first. Shepp on the other hand were extremely accurate early on.

We cut it to 11 points at about the ten minute mark of the last quarter so we were right in the game all day which was bloody pleasing.
Shepp had a bit more polish on the outside in the end and were able to run away late but I was more than happy with our improvement.
It’s three weeks in a row now we have competed well and been in the game so we are getting better. And it almost feels nice to be disappointed with a loss again knowing it was up for grabs still in the last.

Overall from where we have come from I couldn’t be happier as long as we keep getting better.

Are the Swans favourites next week against the winless Tigers

[emoji15][emoji15][emoji15] haha wouldn’t have thought. Rochy have payed some good teams so far. They’ll be keen to win for sure. But as each week goes by I am believing we can compete and win games now so anything could happen!!

Agreed....the main threats have dropped off whilst Ky have maybe improved or stayed the same. A bigger gap than 2018 by the looks of it. Not great for the comp.
Agree ringo !! Ky by 12 goals same round last year and Echuca haven’t beat the bombers since 2011 and after what I witnessed tonight that will continue but as you stated good for Ky not good for the comp !!

Why isn’t it good for comp ?
Ky have introduced some good young talent

I think what we are saying is that a GV comp with 4-6 genuine contenders is always better than one! I just can’t see Ky dropping a H&A game and surely won’t slip up again this year!
