Way I see it - if Dogs win, then Tigs are essentially out of finals race, so one less threat to us. But if Tigs win and we win, then we could theoretically end up higher on ladder at end of season.

Yes. Well in my assumption we win the remaining games, and Brisbane drop two more after Freo. They play Collingwood, Adelaide, St Kilda.
