Maybe with the 2 young forwards they have, he might still be gettable. Has he been getting a game this yearRecently extended at the end of last season so ungettable

Played every game this season as a second ruck/forward, acts as a chopout for GrundyMaybe with the 2 young forwards they have, he might still be gettable. Has he been getting a game this year
I just had a look, buggerPlayed every game this season as a second ruck/forward, acts as a chopout for Grundy
He's wasted at North, and he's exactly the type of midfielder we need.
In a better side, he'd be a (bigger) gun.

Not yet.. but he and his manager were interviewed on afl.com.au last week stating he wants to stayDid Logan McDonald sign yet?
I think we should stop reporting who says they want to stay. They always say they want to stay until the end of the year. Except in exceptional circumstances. Not yet.. but he and his manager were interviewed on afl.com.au last week stating he wants to stay

That feels like it should a typoReckon Irishman Connor Nash mightn’t be a bad pickup as a free agent. 198cm mid. Had a decent game against the Roos

I didn't realise LDU is only 24 (I just assumed he was 27/28).
His clearance work is exactly what we need in our midfield. All of his key stats bar marks are also trending upwards this season, which is quite impressive considering North's performance so far.
Lazy footballer with average skills.
Agree, I reckon wanting to stay and not signing is Player Manager code for "if you want him you're going to need to offer more"I think we should stop reporting who says they want to stay. They always say they want to stay until the end of the year. Except in exceptional circumstances.
It's also a team thing. Doesn't look great to say you want out whilst your goal for the season is for your team to win as many games as possible.Agree, I reckon wanting to stay and not signing is Player Manager code for "if you want him you're going to need to offer more"
I do like Conor Stone, I also like Max Gruzewski at GWSI think it's likely we get former first round draft picks for unders that have talent but are not playing for whatever reason.
I look at the 2020 AFL Draft as a great example:
I'd take Stone and DGB personally.
Lazy? What?Lazy footballer with average skills.
Lazy? What?
What about that Fin Macrae bloke? Four years in at average clubs if you aren’t best 23 the odds are stacked against you. Stone is the outlier because he’s had injuries and that GWS midfield is top drawer, but whose spot is he taking? Is he really an upgrade on Bytel, Sullivan and Macrae as the next man in? The addition of Parker may well take an opportunity for one of these fringe mids as well.I think it's likely we get former first round draft picks for unders that have talent but are not playing for whatever reason.

So exactly like Petracca, Rankine and JDG? I’d be wary of the balance myself and would prefer we avoid to much star power in the middle so any move on LDU could relegate one of JDG or Naicos to a flank role until JDG retires (pretty good outcome because they’d still be AA quality), but let’s not kid ourselves that the stars are going to put in defensively as much as the worker bees. The problem for LDU and North is they don’t have a Mitchell, Viney or Berry to cover for him. A guy with that level of output offensively and defensively is essentially a unicorn or named Bont…Watch him closely next game,
He doesn't even hide it.
Does not run anywhere near hard enough, doesn't follow opponent around stoppages.
Lazy lazy footballer.
Agreed with the Fin Macrae point, there is talk about Carmichael if he is to make it he would as only as a forward. What about that Fin Macrae bloke? I’d really only be targeting the Hill/ WHE/ Lipinski types that have proven they can play, but fallen out of favour or struggled with injury. They’ll become clearer as the year draws on, but again Thilthorpe is the one I’d be targeting.
