C88 can you get me a still shot of that gif? I've been after a photo of that and I can't find one anywhere.

If one of our key forwards is carrying a niggle or suffering exhaustion, I have no problem with bringing Hamling in for a week or two to cover for him.

And given that if we win this week we’ll have the luxury of a three-win buffer, I have no problem with bringing Hamling in for a couple of rounds just to sound out our depth for the business end of the season.

But otherwise…. big nah.

The system is demonstrably working very, very well.

The ultimate in AFL is to win a flag. I hope we win one this year or next year.

But if we do win one, there’s nowhere higher to go.

We don’t get a bigger flag because we won most of our games by 70 points instead of 30.
It's great that Hamling is applying himself in the twos and giving us a real option to bring in if anyone goes down. Good to see

I like McDonald. I think he offers something different to Amartey & McLean (who each offer something different to McDonald as well.) More of a smooth-moving aerobic type, rather than a brute.

The three of them are perfect for the game we are playing at the minute.

If we like what Heeney, Warner & Gulden are doing (and I assume we all do?) then the way to maintain that is to not have a big power forward who will command the ball in the front half away from them.

Our forwards don't do this but rather work well to complement each other and the mids to give them ample opportunity, time and space to do their thing in.

As I commented earlier today, I think there's a chance this 'decoy' structure gets found out, and maybe then we're tested to see if we can rely on a forward to have a big game. But it's a pretty fool-proof structure that makes the chances of this happening very unlikely, and all three forwards have shown they can have big games on the odd occasion anyway.

It's great that Hamling's going well in the VFL and even better that we can leave him there and let him get better and better so that if the unfortunate happens and he's required, he'll be in the very best form possible.

we had one of them until very recently, and he was a very, very good one ... we seem to be doing pretty well without him

Prefer the comparison to 2005 personally, a ruckman from Melbourne won a flag in his first season with us

Do you ever feel bad tho for players that uproot their life to move and be stuck in the reserves?

It would be frustrating but think other people are doing it tougher

Got a bad feeling about this week. Obviously hope I am wrong, but Crows being criticised from all angles, they will come out firing infront of a ferocious home crowd. The boys MUST turn up. I don't want to lose to these pricks.

I've got a bad feeling too. Our win might not be big enough to improve our percentage... extra laps next week
