Teams Denver Broncos - The Mile High Club

Dre Greenlaw signed up for 3 years. Decent signing, will be good alongside Singleton

Also Hufanga is a good signing, hoping he gets back to pre-injury form. He's still young enough at just 25

Dont mind hte draft so far..

Traded back and collected some extra ammo..

Like the Rd 1 pick - Makes the secondary lethal to the point Aqib is smiling...

And the Rb seems good too and flexible in run and pass situations.

And we got an Aussie punter!!!!!!

Its a sign !

Go Broncos!

The 2nd round back and receiver have grown on me. Some of the 2nd level stats on Bryant are very good, almost best in the draft.

Happy with the defensive picks immediately. The TE also looks like there's lots of upside. Project for now but plenty of ability.

Open air please. Hate domes, soulless things that reduce home field advantage, especially for a team like Denver with some significant home field benefits.

I get they're better for the city and for year round events, but idgaf about that.

Bo was throwing with some f**king horrific footwork today. Clean pocket and he'd just start moving and throwing off platform for no reason, even the last pass he was clean but leant back and threw off the back foot for no reason. Hopefully week 1 nerves and he settles next week.

Defence was huge again, though. Good to see that's carried over.

Clunky on Offense today
I'm not a huge fan of constantly mixing up the RBs on the field... Persevered to much with Badie in the first half... would've preferred they stick with JK/RJ and let them settle in to the rhythm of the game.

I feel like the offense has been weird since Russ' time. We constantly seem to get plays in late, get to the line late and in general have clunky and predictable play calls.

I also think we often have only 2 or 3 receiver routes, which seems a weirdly self-limiting way to try and move the offense. I agree r.e. the running backs, and the run game in general.

Apparently new stadium with a retractable roof is on the way. Probably no surprise but the submissions been formalised.

They did say something along the lines of "The retractable roof allows for year round events, and us to play football in the elements if we choose"

As much as I'd love them to continue to play in the elements, I don't believe that quote for a second. I have extreme doubts about us ever seeing a Denver home snow game once the stadium move is done. Even an extreme cold game. Disappointing.

Screw that leverage penalty... I blame Seattle for that rule. It's a stupid rule lol

Penalty or no penalty, the same issues on offense in the 2nd half.

There's absolutely no intermediate pass game, and there hasn't been for Payton's entire tenure. Russ was blamed for it, but he's passed better since leaving. Still not good mind you, but better than when here. Nix hasn't been able to find the intermediate game at all either and we still so frequently line up with 5-10 seconds on the play clock. Plays getting in late has been happening under Payton as well.

As with all things it's probably somewhere in the middle, but whether it's weapons related or coaching related, we just have no receiving threat beyond 5 yards downfield at all.

Man... this one stings more than last week. Chargers swept the division so far

Far too many penalties (again!), Bo overthrowing on long passes, can't seem to stop the rush, and the play calling leaving much to be desired once again.

Absolutely no intermediate pass game. Short/behind the line of scrimmage or the odd deep pass once or twice a half

Not sure if it's play calling, the lack of threatening receivers, or (hopefully not..) Bo just doesn't have it.

Probably something of a combination, as all these things are, but the play calling issues stem from Russ' time with Payton too so I'm leaning that way. Starting to get a bit concerned with Paytons gameplan. Seems very dated and easily managed by modern defences.

We still think Bo is the answer?

Having doubts. Shown no significant progress from last season.

Bo is definitely a factor. Payton doesn't trust him with medium-to-long passes.
