Past Brad Lloyd

I guess we just don’t know who is responsible for what but, last year we were ranked 18th at conceding goals from D50 stoppages, to me this is a defensive coaching issue.

When we see teams score at a really high ratio to inside 50 entries to me that shows lack of midfield pressure, I think this can be down to the types of players we have.
Yep, OP mids swarm into our D50 because they aren't concerned in the slightest about our mids, they know we'll turn it over and they'll get another chance, they are prepared to risk conceding a couple because the percentages are way in their favor.

Brad Lloyd is basically John Barker. An absolute hack of the highest order who managed to stick around at the only AFL club that would have him for close to a decade.

Hopefully his car boot is empty and he can pack his stuff and also fit Voss in as well (who he smuggled in said boot during his appointment to hide him from media).

Surely we just take a leaf out of Play Now's book with their approach to George Costanza:

Mr. Thomassoulo: George, I've realized we've signed a one year contract with you, but at this point, I think it's best that we both go our separate ways.
George Costanza: I don't understand.
Mr. Thomassoulo: We don't like you and we want you to leave.

Who’s a good replacement?
I think it's a slightly different situation with Wright as CEO because he'll be more hands on in the football space, so a HoF role potentially becomes more administrative.

Lloyd himself would probably be a good option to be starting now rather than be on the way out.

Otherwise someone like Bartell might be ok who has some experience but would need to grow into the role and benefit from a Wright as a mentor.

An experienced independent operator is more what we needed under Liddle as CEO and probably under Cook as it turns out.

Surely we want Wright to be the CEO and not need to wear too many hats.

Bartel is a good football person but has never coached, I don’t think he’s even been an assistant, hasn’t done list management either, he’s just a well known big name.

However I don’t recognise a lot of the names at other clubs in the role, so maybe Bartel would be good
