Confidence does wonders. Minus the one dropped mark his hands look fantastic. I possitive the more he plays the more skill you start to see. Between him and coops, two very skillful big guys

100% I was worried earlier because it looked like he was losing confidence playing in the 1s. 2 good games should have him full of confidence and he has so much skill as well as height and athleticism if we get this one right he'll be a superstar

Clearly Ross has a plan but 49% game time frustrates me.

Love how hard he is at it.

Tbh Box is a first year player who can play limited roles.

But he is getting time on the middle and quality time.

Keeler is a doooooggg!!! Not many people can move like that at almost 200cm. He should stay in for the rest of the year decade.

Hunter showed why he went at pick 7. He's just got such natural skill and instinct. Such a shame he's lost years to injury. If he ever gets a proper clear run, he will be a star.

Windy's best game. Not only did he get the ball while stopping, his disposal was much improved from earlier in the season. We need this version of him more often than not.

Wilkie best defender in the comp. Much better from Hill. Good to have Butler back.

Keeler taking the mark to seal the game on Gawn made it even better.

Give Nas whatever he wants.

How about that htb free kicks against Mase. Held it too long. Fair enough, but is that literally the 1st time that has been paid? He didn't even hold it that long and disposed of it

Terrific bounceback to form, especially the electric first quarter!

Would be handy to be able to add Max, Macrae, Howard, Pou, Stocker, and fit/in form Henry and Wilson, to that team.

We saw today how much it helps having Butler/Clark types back, even if they aren’t “world-beaters”.

Pity our next four games are so difficult. Could play well and lose them all.

Such a shame we’re not an MCG team.
Those wide expanses like today really suit our style. Not so easy for other to shut us down too.
Pity we’re playing the Pies at Marvel.

For such a big guy his football skills are as good as a small guy , being so young he ceiling is huge.
In a couple years and a few more kg who knows how good he will be.

Fascinating way we used Clark today. Attended just one centre bounce and think he lined up forward all day, pushing up to the stoppages. Had 20 and a goal and could so easily have been two.

Hill had a sneaky good game, with

Well done Saints. Holy fukc the umps genuinely tried to flip the game - that might have been the worst display of biased umpiring since about 12 years ago when we lost a game when an ump called 'front on contact" against Milne when he never touched the Collingwood campaigner. We should have been 8 goals up at half time in this one.

Bravo Windy - awesome game. Exciting game from Keeler. Wilkie amazing, Steele looking back in form. Great to have a fit Butler back. Hammer looking great defensively, made me nervous with the ball but he's developing nicely. Hunter did a lot of good work.

We were fortunate that Melbourne barely turned up and couldn't kick a goal but they had the umps in their corner, especially in the second quarter when the game was up for grabs. I hope Pou is alright

The club did a great job engaging with a local school who share our colours.

He certainly does do some very promising things, but when you can only really play it the guts, you need to be contributing more, or it puts too much of a load on others in there.

He only played 49% of the game, but he still attended 11 centre bounces (just one less than Jones, who attended our 3rd-most, outside of Roma), yet didn’t have a single clearance, and had just 4 CP’s, so he’s the obvious one to come out for Macrae, if he’s available.

That will be a huge upgrade.

Is a decent sub option at this stage though.

Macrae comes in however kids like Phillipou , Boxsall and Carroll have now given us some options when needed.
We are slowly getting better and hopefully kids like Travaglia and Wilson develop to be key players for us as well.

Really a big game from Windhager , yes he did keep Pickett quiet but he had 28 disposals which a to me one of the best 3 on the ground , Nas and Wilkie being the other 2.

WTF was with the umpiring?! Sorry but that was just a joke. Off the top of my head:

• Clear as day 50 to Butler missed.
• Nasiah gets bumped in the head after kicking no downfield.
• Ridiculous dangerous tackle call leads to goal.
• Wood disgusting HTB call in front of goal.
• Pickett drops the ball instead of giving it back and no 50.

Seriously they had an absolute mare and I would have been seriously filthy if we'd lost.

Ok now onto us. Nasiah was on another level to anyone else on the ground. So great to see Clark playing well. Wilkie immense but also really liked Hammer's game.

Hill a couple of errors but his goal was the pivotal moment of the game in my opinion. Huge moment.

Windy's disposal was sloppy but his sheer weight of possessions meant he had a massive game. That's what a lot of the best mids are like eg Danger. Could this be his breakout game?

Carroll and Box were both handy.

Great effort by the boys today. Huge win.
