Like ffs we are MFC fans we are fine with losing as long as we can see what you're trying to build.

I remember when we were complete trash 07-15 and would still go to games looking for promising signs in game plan and potential in player. Now I can hardly watch a game at home.

He’s successfully killed hope in most of the fans because he is incapable of changing the game plan and will stifle the potential of the young players by playing them out of position or trying to make them inside mids. Inside mid joke is probably a bit stale because you don’t get a look at the midfield unless you’re Trac, Oliver of Viney.

I disagree... he has tried to change the game-plan since the end of last season... and we have seen good snippets of what they are trying to do.

We struggled to get off to a good start with injuries and players suspended. We looked absolute trash early on.

We have been better in a patch when we got a happy Pickett back in the team, and with Turner down back and TMc doing his best self.
But when lever came back in, it tripped our form arseoverturkey.

We reverted back to down the line kicks, and his troubling form when he is caught with the ball.
Our problems are lack of leg speed in our midfield, and also in our back-line.

Plus the nervousness of playing attacking footy.

What are peoples thoughts on who to bring in around Goodwin if he does survive? I actually wouldn’t mind Hird he seems to be up with the game pretty well. I love Jones for what he give the club as a player but I’m not sure he’s the right man for the job it seemed a odd decision IMO, was all about the love talk and mending relationships preseason last year.

The worst thing to do is knee-jerk type reactions.

Look at Carlton with their changing of the guard, so often.
It has got them nowhere, but an over inflated thinking about themselves. and fails on fails.

Carlton and Melbourne are eerily similar in a culture sort of way and often suffer from the same ailments.
They get way ahead of themselves, and bring themselves down... and it starts from the inner sanctum and over confidence... and then ends up in the hands of the fans out in the bleachers, trying to tear the place down.

Micro changes the either didn't work or hold. Game plan needs macro changes to it and he can't seem to do that.

It could be as simple as 'what are the good teams doing, let's copy that'

Genuinely seems bewildered as to why we are at the bottom of the ladder.

Congrats on winning the long over due flag . As i believe he is now trying to chase where the other top teams are , i just don't think he is capable of being an innovating coach any more . (If he ever was one to start with ) .
Seems to me nothing will really fundamentally change while the board backs him in .

seems bewildered as to why we are at the bottom of the ladder.

We've (in the past) recruited players to suit the kicked up the boundary line and have another stoppage game-plan... and these same players are the senior players in our teams.

I'm, talking about Lever, Salem... & Maysie to a point as well.
Of these guys only May is adaptable to the more modern... or if you like older styled, game-plan.

Run and Carry is the game, and contest is still really important. Thats why Fritta isn't compatible.
