Folks are dumb where I come from . He is simply not the sharpest tool in the shed and now his confidence is at his IQ level.

His iq was high at under 18 level from memory.

I don’t think it’s disinterest. He’s just so bereft of confidence and out of form that he can no longer football.

It wouldn’t be such a bad thing for him to do a Meyers and drop himself to the VFL and try to earn his place back into the side on merit.

Take some control back, make a statement rather than wait for the coaches to make that decision for him.

Career is teetering on the brink as it stands imo.

I don't think he has the fight to do that, I think he'd struggle to impact at VFL level as well.

Where is he going to go? There's only three or four other teams in the league he'd be getting a game for at the moment. It's not like he's being starved of opportunity at Essendon. Is he going to suddenly grow a heart once he switches clubs?

How would you know ? There where no games. His sample size was some games at half forward bottom age year and I think it was a couple of practice matches.

Looks to move much more fluidly there - as someone here nailed it he now runs like a non lubricated robot.

Was reading some of the Blitzer comments during the week and some reckon Perkins has lacked penetration in his kicking in recent times. Then today apparently didn't make the distance from 45 - I didn't see it. His awkward looking running gait several here have commented on in contrast to the early Perko and his draft vid begs the question if he has been carrying something. If so it would be understandable if he wants out.
