Im not in a rush to see Wardlaw back, love the guy, don't mind the idea of him racking up 30 odd touches a couple of weeks in a row at the lower level to build his confidence.

Probably a lot unfair about the bolded .... we tried Sellars against the cats, did him no favours .... Maybe the following week against stink kilda.

Happy too for CD to take a week off and give the backline distribution to RH, FOS and CM, on the proviso there are no 18m passes anywhere inside the defence 50.

I kind of agree so as not to bring him in, but, as you mention, he is actually a ruckman .... needs must and all that. Might be he'll surprise us .... might be he'll just feel at home with the younger brigade .... there's nowt to lose in anycase

No comparison between Goad and Sellers. Sellers never had any AFL traits and was a player who excelled at his role in VFL. Goad has AFL traits in spades yet is still developing.
