We're an imbalance in the league and people are 'concerned'.

If he's kicking in that much, its a coaching decision.

I don't think Caleb Daniel is the biggest problem facing North.

If they had a better option, he'd be playing. They don't. That's list management.

Not denying a list management issue exists, exemplified by the recruitment of Daniel himself, and there are better selection options than Daniel but they are persisting with naming him in the team, possibly to try to save face.

Read the thread. It isn't working at all. I doubt that a single North supporter is satisfied with Daniel being selected.

I'd be having Stiffy do the kickouts. He's a good accurate kick, with penetration if he needs it. Can't be any worse than Daniel.

Apparently we are #5 in the league for scoring from a kick in. I don't believe that of course but if it is backed up by real statistics, I'm going to counter by saying that we've had a fair few teams kick a lot of behinds against us so our wonderful statistic is probably just a result of sheer weight of numbers.

To be fair, Daniel is probably quite pissed off at whatever it is thats happening around him.

He might be a high anxiety type - remember that he accepted the trade but he reportedly was not prepared to request a trade from western. Also, in one of those club propoganda videos players were asked to say something about Clarkson I think, and Caleb's contribution was to decline because he didn't really know the guy very well.

I can't see him demanding an uplift in the performance of the teammates around him.

I disagree. I think that they are persisting with him because of the optics of trading pick 25 for him, then trading our future 1st (pick 2, currently) for pick 28. So, essentially, pick 2 for Daniel.

It should be Hardeman and Duursma taking kick outs. Or Cooper Harvey, if they play him at half back.
