It could be worse, the_interloper, it could be Coldplay. I've always thought they seemed like likeable blokes, they write their own music and can play their own instruments (unlike so many other pop acts), and Chris Martin sings very well naturally, but their output is just so boring it causes me pain (and I say this as someone who is able to appreciate other styles of music, even if they don't arouse passion the way metal does). One of my best mates tried to drag me along to their show once, and it was the hardest of hard no's.

That whole thing with their kiss cam the other week, all I could think about was how the most embarrassing part of the episode was being caught at a Coldplay concert.

Yeah I can't do Coldplay at all either, like you say they seem like good blokes and all (so does Post Malone to be fair) but the music, naaah, very ****ing boring.

On the kiss cam thing I made the comment that it would never happen at a Tool gig, no women there!

Or going the other way entirely, a Motley Crue gig circa 1984...you wouldn't know who is the girl and who is the boy...

The guy they've got filling in on drums, George, check out his day job act, Livewire, from Sydney.

If you ever get the chance to see them, do so, they are incredible live (and really nice guys off stage too, always up for a chat and a drink after their set).
