Iirc that night a dog I was looking after diarrhoead all over my floor after Geelong got up. So I really did have some instant perspective.

I have a borrowed pet dog now. A nearby house keeps a dog and leaves it outside for long periods when nobody is there to keep it company. It drove me mad barking and crying but it took up howling a few weeks back. I hate that kind of cruelty so I went over there and explained I loved dogs but couldn’t keep one myself but I’d be happy to take their pup for some exercise when I walk each day.

Has improved things heaps. He’s called Hank and is still only a baby but very large and strong so I’m teaching him to sit and walk on a leash for smako rewards.

It is hard raising a pup even if you are mostly at home. These people are actually okay. They had a burglary last year and their son got them a German Pointer pup as a gift and burglar deterrent but they don’t have a lot of time to spend with him. He’s 10 months now so still needs lots of attention. I got one of those things so you can grow a tennis ball further to wear him out more and he loves it. Apparently it helps him settle in his basket in the lounge better in the evening. Before it sounds like living with a 16yo Christian Petracca straight after a big growth spurt.

Hank is good for me too. Nice to have company walking.

Now, here's the thing.

I got an infringement notice ... apparently I went through a red light. $504 ...sheesh!!

When we played the bummers in 2011 at three quarter time channel 7 showed some slow mo highlights with music as they tended to do at the time. Now for this they used Eskimo Joe's Comfort you, but a changed version. Piano still the focus, Bass removed and a different drum beat added in

Now over the years i have searched the internet to see if anything has come up, but for the best part of a decade have found nothing. My only theory is they put out an album 'Beating like a drum' which is all covers of their music by other artists and none of these are available on any web service or just floating uploaded on YouTube

Anyways driven to the point of insanity looking for one ****ing song for the last ten years i have scoured a second hand cd off ebay. For the love of ****ing god please let this P-Money Mix actually be what i've been searching for all these years

I had to do the same thing to find a clear version of Rock N Footy which i found and uploaded for everyone else (although a year after i did someone did the same thing) NOW turning onto lost music with an AFL relation, I have been hunting a clear verson of "capper-cabana" which seems to have vanished off the face of the earth

But back to Comfort You, holy shit please be the version i heard on the telly all that time ago, it's been so long searching man
