Some of the takes on here are bizarre.

A 2+9 deal would have given us no more confidence of him staying or going in 3 years time.

This is a good update. There was some unsubstantiated noise that if he didn’t get the +9 element he wouldn’t extend. That appears not to be the case and he is still at the table with us as his preference.

The teams Harley would agree to be traded to (contenders) don't have the draft capital to satisfy us, so if he did walk out and we went full West Coast at the trade table, we'd get massive unders.
