Yeah mate I don't really subscribe to the relentless Matt Clarke bashing that some do on this board. Not going to call him a bust over one off-season. To be honest I wasn't unhappy with how things turned out for us in the end, besides Owies but you can't win them all. Willing to back the bloke in and give him a real shot to build the list.

Seems to be making the right calls for the most part. Letting Allen go is a good start this year, the posturing on Ryan is also pleasing. These are things we're not used to seeing in a long time. Ask me again after this trade period what I think of him and we'll see where it all lands.

Looks like he will get great value from TB and Allen (both who probably wouldn't have lasted much longer with our travel) and is likely to do the same with Ryan. Landed Harley as well.

The senior players know that they're not entitled to endless extensions and big money if they don't perform. Those who can't hack it can piss off (Ryan and Allen).

Wasn't perfect (got backed into a corner with Baker) but I'm willing to bet he's learned a lot.

As I’ve been saying all year they will come for pick 1! They would need Draper to get band 1 to get both.

Kelly and Hutchinson extension have some real question marks but he might have us eating our words next season but don’t like the chances

AFLW seems to have far more player movement than AFL though, not sure if it's relevant to be grouped with the other 2 spuds.
