Team Captain
Probably the best that we could hope for is a F2.
I doubt we'd be interested in either 34 let alone 44.

Can we send Owies back to Carlton in a salary dump ?Def don’t want to see Chesser go
Has been mentioned a bit about the grubby mangers playing a big part & totally agree
The Yeo contract was all off driven by his manager and the club buckled.
We need to play hard ball if they want Chesser ,they can cough up Ashton Moir.
Recon he would be a upgrade on all our small forwards and Motlop
Banfield would be real cheap at pick 44Probably the best that we could hope for is a F2.

How is having to keep him for potentially 3 years a better outcome? He might turn out well, but he was still delist fodder halfway through the season.and fetch us pick 40-odd in a relatively weak draft?
A pick we more than likely wont even use?
Nah
Send Owies back with dyed black hair and a spray tan. There's your Chesser. Can we send Owies back to Carlton in a salary dump ?
There is no sign that he wants out is there?I find it a bit ironic that when Chesser was interviewed Pre Draft, the club really rated his leadership and attitude. This may have been a factor in choosing to draft him.
Once he moved to Perth, there was more commentary around his great attitude. They also extended his first contract (after he suffered a serious injury).
Now he is finally over his injuries and starting to perform, he wants out.
Whereas Hobbs (Ess), a player we have been loosely connected to (and would have been available in the same draft) was considered a serious flight risk.
I just assumed the F2 was in addition to the first they have to give us this year?Jesus Christ, Chesser is worth far more to us than a f2.
Would be a disastrous result if he was to leave.
Not really, disastrous is a famine impacting a nation of millions, caused by a plague of locusts wiping out cropsJesus Christ, Chesser is worth far more to us than a f2.
Would be a disastrous result if he was to leave.
We'd be lucky to get a F3.Jesus Christ, Chesser is worth far more to us than a f2.

Wow.Jesus Christ, Chesser is worth far more to us than a f2.
Would be a disastrous result if he was to leave.
Disagree, injury riddled former first round pick that’s shown high level afl attributes coming back from a season long injury. We'd be lucky to get a F3.
Out of contract,
Injury riddled at West coast,
Not an established in the best 23
Untill the last 6 weeks he was in the discussions on this board to be amongst the delistings.
I'd be spewing if he left after hes finally shown something half decent at AFL level.
I expected you to not be capable of walking back your opinion and being fine with him leaving rather than offering him a whole extra year.Wow.
Didn't expect that over reaction from you........
I've already said I'd prefer it if we only offered a year, but looks as if we would have to offer him 2 to keep him.Disagree, injury riddled former first round pick that’s shown high level afl attributes coming back from a season long injury.
A f3rd would do literally nothing for the eagles.
I expected you to not be capable of walking back your opinion and being fine with him leaving rather than offering him a whole extra year.
I would not see any harm in offering him 3 if it meant keeping him, he clearly has the ability to play and the only possible question mark is injury.I've already said I'd prefer it if we only offered a year, but looks as if we would have to offer him 2 to keep him.
I at least try to have a balanced view of him rather than your continued insane and embarrassing takes on him.
You keep on Banging on about him being a first round draft pick.
It means nothing in the scheme of things.
So was Jarrod Brander.
Would I rather keep him?
Yes.
Would I lose any sleep if he left.
Edit: What pick do you value him at?
I would not see any harm in offering him 3 if it meant keeping him, he clearly has the ability to play and the only possible question mark is injury.
What embarrassing or insane takes? That he’s worth more to us than a f2? Prior to his recent AFL run for the whole year the most complimentary thing I’ve had to say was that it’s too soon to write off the bloke.
I say he’s a first round pick as that’s indicative of his talent/potential, players that get taken in the first round are more likely to possess the athletic/football traits required to be good/elite players, Brander from the outside looking in appeared to be mental and not a similar case.
More importantly than where he was picked was across the last 4 games he’s shown to be an above average wingman despite only playing two seasons worth of games, in the worst team in history, coming back after a season long injury and still being 22.
I think we’d get a f2 in a trade, I also believe he’s far more valuable to us than that.
He’s shown absolutely everything that a top wingmen requires.
Aside from injury, what trait would you believe stops him from being a good footballer? Because I don’t see any particular weaknesses in his game based on his last 4 weeks.
