Quick question if anyone can help...

We are driving up to Brisbane from GC in the arvo maybe 3-4pm plan is to park somewhere, go for a beer/food at a pub before game.

Any advice on where to park and good pub to go to?

thanks

Park on the Corner of Heaslop and Annereley Road. $5-$10 parking for the day. Several establishments to choose to have a beer and food on the shirt walk to the Gabba.

I'd rather lose to Suns than farken Collingwood...

I am. Collingwood is a team that I hate the most "on paper" but It would take a long time to recover losing to these guys. It's like how people from adelaide would rather see anyone but port win, and the same goes for the perth teams. I'm also still not over their club raiding a lot of our fanbase in 2011.

You haven’t been to enough games where the Lions got beaten by the Pies. The scars run deep, and their supporters are unbearable!

I'll give you a tip.
There are parking restrictions around the Gabba prescinct so if you are parking on Street , make sure there is a sign saying parking and make sure you read it.
If you are in the prescinct and there isn't a sign then you can be fined.
My friend found the perfect spot across from the Piney down the side street , would of been except for the fine hee hee.
Tried to tell him.
But you could park up the top of the Kangaroo point cliffs .
You would be close to the Piney or the German Club or restaurants on Main Road.
Just be aware of what your departure route will be , might be a little congested if you take the wrong turn.
Other option could be off Logan road , coulkd be better for when you leave .
But you'll probably be leaving at three quarter time anyhow. :D
Maybe check the Brisbane City Council site for the details of parking when an event is on.

Whatever the case. Fagan got schooled.

It’s on him to make the team play finals brand footy.

We aren’t going to win it this year and that’s no shame. We just have too many holes in the list and too many players past their best who don’t give a damn anymore.
1. Pretty damning injury list.

2. Is that a vibe?

You'll be lucky to just rock up at a Pub in the mid to late afternoon and get in for a sit down meal, we tried to book a table yesterday at multiple locations, we finally got a spot at The Red Brick Hotel on Annerley Rd.

If you don't mind a bit of a walk(15-20 minutes) Park Road at Dutton Park is a good spot and you wont run into anywhere near as much traffic if you go for a parking spot closer to the Gabba when trying to get out of the area.

First person to let slip where our secret park is joins Billy Puller on my block list.
Yep can’t believe anyone is giving any parking or eating tips to any Suns - screw em, let them starve and get parking fines or better yet; walk.

Yeah I was thinking going into Southbank , more options and on the TRain and Bus route.
Plenty of Bars and Restaurants, normally just rock up to one of the bars.
Should be still plenty of Atmosphere around there.

Make 'em get the hovercraft!

I’d get the free bus in from coorparoo square. Get a nice meal at the pub there. Or at stones corner. Should have no issue finding parking in the surrounding streets and it’s about 5min on the bus to the ground. IMO that is the least stressful option and you won’t be dealing with 1000 people in a pub near the ground to get a parmi.

Alternatively, Michael obrien catering do what I would consider Michelin star grourmet food inside the ground and there are a couple of parks right here:

I expected to lose to Geelong last week.
And if we play the cats in the GF, I think we’ll lose again.
But I think we will beat GC on Saturday
And I think we can beat the Pies in an MCG prelim.
And if we have to face the Cats in a granny, let’s make ‘em earn it!
Never surrender!
You just never know!

Herald Sun saying Big O will be recalled in the team announcement tomorrow night. In combo with Fort in the ruck
That means Day comes out if that comes true.
I would also consider replacing Gallop with Reville if Rayner is again spending most of his time forward.

Just have to wait and see.

There’s a good chance that wasn’t a joke
