You mean he shouldn't derail his teams final campaign by coming out and saying he wants to move teams?
Something like that.

Not saying it’s happening clearly I would be stunned as our main man Rhino but these things normally leak due to the manager trying to get extra coin from rival bids which this wouldnt be a case of that or chats with team mates. I doubt Neale would be doing that at this stage of the season.

Eagles have shown they have very little leaks, releasing the Harley extension was a big one to prove that.

From memory the Sam Mitchell one didn’t break until close to the trade window.

Barich didn’t dismiss Freo with their response. Said it was too confident or something.

No one wants this rule at all . Players , fans and clubs hate the idea .

Why AFL do you keep having to mess with the game

Much better than deliberate or "insufficient intent"

Black and White rules with less interpretation of what someone is thinking are always good. In true afl style they do seem to be making it as complicated as possible though

Nah redden was done .

I heard an interview with him after he retired . He had been wearing career saver boots for 2 years . They are runners that look like footy boots but you lose Agility and kick length .

He also struggled to recover in time for the next game .

Great player and bowed out at the right time . At least he didn't do a gaff who was cooked and kept playing
Hmm.

Surprised, he was playing okay footy in his last year. Well so I remembered..

Michael Jordan Shrug GIF by The Ringer

Where is this gif from?

So has anyone nominated a trade to us as yet? Or are we waiting for Brisbane’s exit interviews next Monday when Starcevich, Robertson, Tunstill, Neale and briztoon all request trades to West Coast?
Plus Suns Davies, Moyle and Flanders, oh and Hawks Butler and Hustwaite

I’d blame tigers culture. Why else would Bolton, Rioli, et al leave? It has been made as though tigers pushed these guys out to get a good draft hand.

Or they all could be a problem. But they all exited very quickly together.
Maybe they just didn't want to be in a crap side.

Not just did Tim Kelly make us trade away and entire decade, now he's list clogging players like Chesser out of the side.

I heard from a friend he was in Utah yesterday.
Not sure how TK being in our team impacts Chessers position in the team.?

We for the most part agree.

I never claimed to know any more than anyone else. It is simply 'here is number 1 ruck in the class he can be Luke Jackson in the future', is half the ruck that Luke Jackson was, and I end up obviously displeased. If he was actually a good ruck I wouldn't have any issues with it, but the problem is that he isn't dominant and we are in no place to be taking speculative picks. We need talent AND production that while not guaranteed IS bankable. That's Sharp in my eyes.

Like Sharp? Who's such qualities are widely reported and praised? I'm not saying he's not like that, but we would've probably heard about it by now in the draft process when we have about other players.

I don't think he's going to be a bad player, but I don't think he is our long term ruck, and frankly he doesn't look like he'll be anyone's ruck any time soon.

Exactly why I called him Barnett 2.0 in the first place. Best ruck in their class that looks a sure thing. Obviously it is massive hyperbole to describe CDT as Barnett 2.0, CDT will at least be a good KPF in the future. I just don't see #1 ruck in the next 5 years nor do I see #1 pick over at least 5 or 6 other names.
I don't know who is comparing CDT to Luke Jackson other than the "unicorn" buzzword being thrown around in a few articles, but I wouldn't be making that comparison anyway. He's not a leaping ruck, he's probably more comparible to Grundy when he was in his prime but add forward craft to that skillset. Luke Jackson is a lazy comparison to make.

I do think we mostly agree though, yeah. And hey, some rankings are now putting Sharp at pick 6 and he could slide further with Robey being looked at closely. If we manage to trade up to Port's pick and retain 1 & 2, there's every posibility we get Duursma, CDT & Sharp. Who bloody knows, I'm just looking forward to a wild off-season.
