He certainly did use logic and taught many obnoxious students real lessons. He also debated fairly and invited the public in a professional way. Take the human life and abortion clips for instance. Many students couldn't even distinguish when human life is formed. Anyway that's just one example.
I didn't agree with absolutely everything he said, but from what I saw, he made some students and others really embarrassed.

Try remain focused here mate on this issue at hand. If your view was truly right morally and factually - you wouldn't need a gun. Your argument can survive a debate. But when your reality is so twisted and warped, violence becomes the only way you can win.

Funny how I gave you a full answer to the comparison to alcohol and you ignored it to take shots at other people.

Well that's why we have measures to reduce alcohol related harm, such as alcohol taxes to reduce consumption, random breath testing for drivers, public drinking laws and responsible service of alcohol laws.

Some might say these laws don't go far enough and should be more restrictive to prevent more deaths. That's a debate worth having. Charlie Kirk, however, in this analogy, would be someone advocating zero restrictions on alcohol whatsoever, claiming everyone who wants restrictions wants to take away alcohol for everyone, and accepts whatever alcohol-related harm that happens just so he can drink however much he wants, whenever he wants, wherever he wants. But the answer is in your own quote. I don't necessarily think both sides are equally guilty. But if this does turn out to be a politically motivated assassination, then that's a black mark against the left (of course, noting the left covers a massive spectrum of beliefs and actions).

Let me put it this way. The US would be in a much better place without Trump and the Christian Right being in power. But I'm not that naive that political violence will suddenly disappear over there if Trump gets voted out. It's ingrained in their culture.

This is indeed an honour for Charlie. It's one thing to get praise from Donald but it's something special to get it from his boss. I was confused this morning when I read that Charlie had made some anti-semitic comments but then I realised that he had criticised israel for not killing enough children....it's nice that the master has forgiven him.
