Does anyone know how restricted the "restricted viewing" is for bay N54 - it was noted as a restricted viewing seat which I nearly took before something opened up in M3

Curious for next time

Will just be a small part of the ground directly in front of you wouldn't be visible. So about 1 metre inside the boundary line....just have to stand up when the ball is there

What are your issues with the accessible seating process? I regularly book accessible tickets and will be doing so tomorrow for the Pies v Lions game, haven't had any major issues this season including booking for finals, ANZAC Day etc. I can try to assist if you like?

My sister needed wheelchair and companion seat, she filled in the online form last night - also started in the queue this morning (was about 30,000 in line) - her phone rang at 10.05am, it was ticketek and she had her tickets in her phone wallet by 10.15am - easiest transaction she has ever had with ticket bookings

Thank you. How long have you got?
Today you chose the accessible box, to ask for wheelchair space and companion. Ticked the boxes required.
After that, the only optional box was to go back to home page and start all over again with codes.

I did this 5 or 6 times to try and work through it. Would only issue 2 concession seats, so not picking up the wheelchair space. Why don't they just give a straight forward box to tick for chairs and companions on the front page?
Most home games, you fill the form in and (sometimes) they ring you back the next day, but it appears you can now request accessible online, supposedly. Have done so with GF tickets last week, after calling the club to clarify.
Throughout the season have been hit and miss as to getting a call back, so was willing to submit form in the end, but for whatever reason the link is not accepting the form.

Stoked to have got a ticket (q51) but annoyed by the 1 ticket per membership rule — though probably understandable. The waiting game begins🗿

Thank you. From what I've heard today their system is showing no friendship or favour to anyone.
Happens every year, and yet this mob cleans up with their commission, it's infuriating.
My cleaner just said she got frozen on the payment page, as did winty.
My neighbour just about hurled their PC through my window, my Mum rang almost crying..
For us, every year I'm going to report them, they just do not care to help people with a disability,
rather they make it impossible to navigate their process, and facilitate wheelchairs, they shut us down.
Won't answer their "special' phone line, email link for "special" form doesn't work.

I'm very happy for all of you who were successful. Cheer heaps for us at home, you are lucky.
EDIT: got in again on another screen, and just about nothing left. Thanks AFL rich crunts.
It's not good enough. Make sure your voice is heard. There needs to be some accountability.

It's a far from perfect process. Regardless of whether you're a long standing club member or MCC member.

People like to sling mud at MCC members but I've had messages from 5 or 6 full MCC members (20 years plus) who all went into the online purchasing process and all missed out on a seat. But thew flipside of that is the MCC members (paying the same annual subscriptions) who were able to purchase a ticket for themselves + a guest pass.

they can still turn up early and get a seat if they didn't get reserved seats today. the vast majority of the reserve is walk up seating. I was lucky I got a couple MCC reserved seats (excellent seats on wing, level 1) so dont have to worry about leaving work early and can chill before game. also managed to snag guest passes for a mates kids. I can see member's frustrations, on one hand MCC should think about canning guest passes for Prelims and leave all the seats for members, but then you'll have the odd occasion when it doesnt fill up and everyone else will be screaming about MCC wasting seats, damned if they do damned if they dont.

Wtf are Haw being allocated more tickets than us
For mine, this needs to be looked at. I doubt they get a higher allocation (I'd hope not), but what actual benefit does a home team get for earning a home final?

Usually you get to play on your home ground, and at worst, you're playing against another team who has the same home ground so it's neutral. In our case, this doesn't occur. I think the majority of us Cats fans begrudgingly accepts this isnt fair for us given we play home finals at the MCG, but what I can't accept is the club not getting first access to tickets given we have earned the right to a 'home' final.

Surely we (or the home prelim team) gets first access and what is leftover is made available to the opposing (away) team?

1220pm finally got tickets. Got pushed to the back of the queue several times. Originally wanted 10 seats but after some phone calls to mates, we separated in to groups of 3, 3 and 4. We all got tix but man that was some experience.

Did this happen to anyone else? I would select the seats I wanted and click 'next'. Then a message would pop up saying something like "all tix are exhausted, please select best available or lower the number of tix requested".
Now that was fare enough but then after doing that and then clicking 'next' it would just sit there and think about things. The little arrow would spin around, thinking, thinking, thinking. Then the 'next' button would reappear as if nothing had happened. I'd click 'next' again and the same thing. Thinking, thinking..... This is where I would get out and have to rejoin the queue each time. Was quite frustrating.

Allocation is based on demand. There are still tickets left for both clubs. If more Hawthorn members try to book tickets, then more Hawthorn members will get tickets, but not at the expense of Cats fans in this case. Unsold members tickets will be on sale 3pm today. No members of either club will miss out.

If they were allotted by membership numbers, they have less than us.
As far as i know, each participating Club receives the same.
I know what you are saying re home team, but I'm not averse to both getting the same number, given both teams are putting on the entertainment, so to speak. But jeez I'll be dark if they get more tix.

List- Just out of interest, Tiggs have tailed off!

* asterisk denotes membership record broken

Collingwood* – 112,491 (2024 tally: 110,628)

West Coast* – 107,079 (2024 tally: 103,498)

Carlton – 100,743 (2024 tally: 106,345)

Richmond – 92,531 (2024 tally: 98,489)

Geelong* – 92,379 (2024 tally: 90,798)

Hawthorn* – 87,204 (2024 tally: 83,823)

From what I seen not long ago, there are only five bays left on the lower levels, the worst of course, and from a Geelong perspective. Maybe Hawks allocations are different bays to ours. Who knows with this mob..
But thanks for your input, and good luck (but not too much) :0

There were probably no groups of 10 left.

Hey guys I come in peace but if this is helpful this was the HFC allocation at 1pm

And at 11am.

As Walshhawk said, ticketek just allocate tickets based on demand to the site. It has nothing to do with member numbers. They would have started 50/50 and they just switch them up based on demand (obviously the level 2 tickets mostly got snapped up in the first hour) and those would have been mostly 50/50.

For example, ticketek now seem to be selling Hawks tickets into M5 which was (I presume) a Cats bay. Good luck on Friday, I think you have the better team and start deserved favourites for the game (and the flag). It would be very interesting to see what bays are showing for Geelong.

I'm impressed you could even get a Jpeg out of them. Copied for reference thanks.
You're right, M5 was showing as bookable for us, so their greedy paws will take anyone's cash.

We both have whole bays each, until it gets down to the last few bays and might mix us up. In this case as it is not sold out we probably won’t be mixed up unless people are buying after 2pm.

Haha. The important thing is that no one will miss out. And the overflow of Hawks (if there is any) will be into the top deck. There is no bias to either side. Had you got the Crows instead of us you would have started equal and started snapping up their allocation.

10 tickets is a tab ambitious
I don't know how it works but it should be easy ish to get 10 together. Either split over rows or so etching like that. And there should be an option to split them but have them more or less close together as well. Most would prefer that to missing out

I got 10, all on the wing level 1 in the AFL members.
Had no issues, unlike the QF. Got a mate to do it, he got kicked out than timed out and ended up L4.
Today I took time out of my day to do it myself.

AFL members is a completely separate sale to rest of ground

I don't think that's correct is it? I think the vast majority of seats are reserved nowadays - not the other way around.

I have member adult and member junior home and away tix on a family plan with a mate.

I have no barcodes in my GFC account but the barcodes exist.

The account has my mates name on it when I log into ticketmaster and he has all the barcodes

My niece is a hawks fan (13 yo) and has no membership - so I gave her my barcodes to use.
My bro - her dad was ona train from Denver to the Denver airport trying to get her tickets
After 2 queues of 23000 he got a third queue of 7800 and got tickets.

So hopefully some good karma comes our way bc I did a nice thing and gave my niece and her dad a chance to go because I can’t.

I like my niece.. she’s a good kid.. but **** we’d better rip her little heart out and win this thing and it’s the job of a good uncle to prepare her for the harsh world out there .

And that time will be Friday night
