Uncontested players rule the game now. Even if he never makes it as a mid we have an elite line breaking half back who is very good in the air.

Look at most of the top teams this year and how the game is played. Yes we need mids as well but elite rebounding defenders with good work rate are nearly the most important players on the field.

I think it'd be a good idea if every club had to poll it's members to nominate one player they don't want their club to draft in the first round, & the club has to abide by it.
Ok maybe not an amazing idea but sure as hell would be fun. There'd be a gazillion % increase in trolling of other clubs' bigfooty boards though.

I have say the thought of another year of our rucks being Flynn and Williams makes me want to , Reid showed some good signs in there, I hope he’s hitting the gym hard in the offseason and putting on a few kg’s.

Its pure hopium but I was thinking maybe Flynn has another level to go to. He's only played 50 games and had some injury interruptions prior to this year. Maybe he could put on another 5kg and become a solid contributor.
