Well, there’ll be one less person to fight over finals tickets with

Had no idea where Pratton was.
Thinking, was it a Suns or Lions member.
It is northwest of Warwick so who does he support.

Who does he support? Apparently the Nazi party.

Thanks Section 5, much appreciated, very thorough as always. 👍
Adding to Section 5’s comment, P2 may assist your hip pocket. We got P2 tickets in 2023, 2A+2J cost ~$1200. Seats were about halfway up level-4 (but full sun which was a bitch at it was a bloody hot day!).
Last year we were P1, got 4 tickets level-2 city end, 2A+2J cost ~$1900.

You pay what you must (and get no choice), but supporting a successful side is a bloody expensive pass time!

Completely ridiculous. Such a random thing to do but make sense if he was full of German Beer and Pork Knuckle from the German Club.

The seats are allocated completely randomly - whether you're P1, P2, P3 has no impact whatsoever on your odds of getting standing room or expensive seats. If you opt out of standing-only seats and you get allocated standing-only seats in the lottery then you just don't get a ticket, whatever your priority.

Pro-tip: if you're standing room get in early because people don't really shuffle around in the standing room sections after they get in there.

5 of the last 6 seasons we have made it at least as far as the Preliminary Final, win on Saturday evening and it will be 3 Grand Finals on the bounce... and the Victorian centric media still say the Pies have been the best side over the last few years. Maybe if we win it this year they will give us some credit, if the Pies win it they will be in the conversation as the GOAT team no doubt.

We can beg to differ on that point - unless you can give me proof of the inner workings of the madness that is the Ticketek ticketing allocation system!

Standing room was pretty fun last year - it was a long day but wasnt too hard to save spots for each other once we were in.

The front row was basically full from gates open, I got in a little bit later and went the back row of standing so I had the fence to lean on behind me (luckily Im tall enough to see over most people).

So many people saying they recon Hawks will win.
They got Newcombe who plays like prime Fyfe in finals. I just think the Hawks are more dynamic across the field. And Cats have had it easy for the past few months. Hawks will play hard and fast. I think they are a good match up on the Cats.

If we both get there I would have supreme confidence that Josh Dunkley would get the job done on Jai Newcombe.

Ok- I got tickets but in section M3 rather than the usual cheersquad at M33/34. Do they sometimes change the supporter side?

The email, for anyone looking for it, has the subject line
"Member Alert: 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final Ticket Information"

coming from club@e.lions.com.au

I received an email containing the barcode on September 5 and an email containing both barcode and the link two hours ago.

The Champion Data guy on SEN (Daniel Hoyne) tipped Geelong and Brisbane this week.

His key indicator (was something like this) - prelim's are scrappy fights and about groundball. Brisbane are 3 in the league for winning groundball. Pies are 14ish (I was multitasking at the time).
