Love how Geelong, Collingwood and Hawthorn have guys in their early to mid 30s playing at or near All Australian level (Gunston, Sidebottom, Pendlebury, Stewart, Elliott, Dangerfield) whereas our guys in that age bracket have either been forced into retirement due to multiple injuries, deteriorated to the point where they’d struggle to make best 22 for some random Wheatbelt side, or aren’t legally allowed to drive due to repeated concussions.
