Collingwood have had sustained success for an extended period of time, making numerous GFs and winging 3 since the '87.
Richmond have been a basketcase and a meme of 9thmond for as long as I can remember.
They have had one period of success and that's it (fair they made hay and won 3). But are now back to wooden spooners and irrelevant clubs

I think if we are ranking the success of clubs since '87, Collingwood beat out Richmond every day of the week.

Don't really agree with this.

Some media outlets this morning asking is "The Collingwood era over".
I wouldn't even call it an era.

Whichever way you look at it, they've won 1 flag in the last decade.
Richmond have 3 in their back pocket.

Absolutely bonkers from the Pies. The too old, too slow Cats of the 22 GF were 28y7months.

Pendulbury deserves all the plaudits for his longevity and durability of his career (travel burden or not, running around at elite level at 37 is unheard-of and should be celebrated). But he suffered the old man calf injury before the biggest game of the year. His body is finally giving up.

He is contracted to go around again next year, but I dunno, I feel like there might be a mid season retirement.

They'll be amongst it again next year, but with the likes of the Hawks, Brissy again, Suns, Saints, even, I feel North improving with much more youthful vigor, they will want to start transition out there older stalwarts for some fresh legs, or end up like us, Richmond (probably closer to the tigers than us).

Problem is, where the trade value?

Pendles 10 short of the all time games record, at the very least they will nurse him along to that one

Look, the best way I can explain it is that I'm not condoning Zorko's actions, but I still find them wildy hilarious and enjoy it even more that Eddie McGuire has woken up today calling for his head. It all makes my pants kinda tight even though it's reprehensible behaviour amongst some of the most unlikeable characters from the football landscape.

Bye Collingwood. All year ive been copping it from Pies fans. All year we have heard Daicos this and Daicos that.

All year we have heard that Collingwood were the best team. I have been saying all year that they were "just a good team".

Proof is in the pudding...look at their last 7 weeks heading into Finals...garbage form. Then they beat Adelaide in week 1 of Finals footy....Qualifying Final....how did that form transpire...Adelaide out in Straight Sets. That form was not strong.

Collingwood got found out. Simple as that. They peaked too early.

Adelaide have gotta be the softest minor premiers. A team as bad as us almost beat them especially that Mini shown the blueprint how to beat the Crows is to pressure them hard but we ran out of petrol tickets. A better more physical team exploited them.

It's coz all the Richmond supporters came crawling out of the woodwork after being the running joke of the league for 30 years and pretended like nothing had happened. Pies supporters are the same whether they suck or not.
