One reason why Port should consider trading Butters this year - get first rounders in this and next years draft.

Clearly the rule change today was to unlock Curnow to Geelong, so once again the rules are changed to assist Geelong.

Adelaide fined 300k and lose multiple draft picks for not reporting Tippet's Balfours deal, even though they were still under the cap with the deal included.

Geelong "fined" $77,500 from their soft cap and no loss of draft picks for not reporting 3rd party deals. Here comes the kicker.... Apparently it's not a big deal because Geelong didn't go over the salary cap
