As dodgy as Toby can be - he can also football - has natural instincts.Interesting that toby greene, when asked if he could pick only one AA, he answered Charlie without hesitation.
Subscribe.Charlie will be everyone’s best ever bagger when his career is done
He’s built for September footy
"Joyous footballer" is an apt description.Jezza was a different sort of player than Charlie. Jezza was deceptively strong and very hard to take off his feet. Was as good at half forward or in defence. Probably the closest I have seen to him was Gary Ablett snr. Freakish leap and marking ability. Was a bit nonchalant about his footy if that makes sense.
Charlie is a joyous footballer. Ignites those around him with his passion for the game. Deceptively good hands and is one of the best field kicks that I've seen. Seems to have sorted his goalkicking.
Really proud that both pulled in the monogrammed cfc. Hope that this helps.

I wonder if Big Nick was playing today what position he'd play? Perhaps a 3rd marking forward?
Fair list, Michael. I know he didn’t play his full career with us, but you can’t find a spot for Diesel in there?1Nicholls

Yes, I missed one. I would put him after Kouta and drop Mclure off.Fair list, Michael. I know he didn’t play his full career with us, but you can’t find a spot for Diesel in there?
Judd needs to be in. I did it in 5 minutes to get a sense where Charlie Curnow sits and I assume Charlie will be at this level for a few more years. My bias is towards match winners, that is why croswell is highly rated. I don't think you can derate a player due to height. Nicholls was tall for his time. Put it another way, if he grew up on today's health and nutrition, he would be 200cm. Also, I have never thought Cripps sits on the same level as our top 10 or so.He's at 4? Well, should be Johnston with a 't' but anyway... MJ - were you only including one-club players? It's a good list - but the likes of Diesel, Harry Madden, Juddy...
MJ - Love that you included Trev Keogh amongst this elite list. Never met him, though we're related. Have a photo he sent to my grandmother which she arranged for me mid-70s, still treasure it.
Also interested that you have Big Nick at 1. We talked earlier in this thread that Jezza wouldn't be a KPP today, well that applies double for Big Nick - who at 189cm is the same height as Blake Acres. I wonder if he was playing today what position he'd play? Perhaps a 3rd marking forward?
