Petracca is not the elite player he was two years ago and I doubt he will ever get back to that because he is a poor/below average kick and he doesn't tackle as hard or go at the ball as hard as he did pre-injury. He is still good in tight and clever with his hands but he has lost a yard of pace and this has hurt his ability to break away from congestion.

He is also petulant and selfish and not easy to coach.

I don't think this draft is that good. There are certainly no standouts like Petracca in his draft year. And the pick swaps make this deal look better for Melbourne than it really is.

The Suns are hoping they can get Petracca back to his best but I am sceptical. He has lost a yard and aggression, and he is not a great kick. But he is still a high production player.

Seeing [PLAYERCARD]Christian Petracca[/PLAYERCARD] leave the club is genuinely heartbreaking.
