jannissary was best on, The Filth Wizard did tackles, toxic went into the ruck, pantskyle did some things and I kicked as many goals as anyone which wasn't a lot but still.

Round Ten - At Home vs the Gumbies

Alright Wazzas, time to ketchup.

Round ten kept us at home where we were hosting the ladder leading Gumbies, the team that the sim this season has deemed to be one of the arsiest ones. The usual cast turmed up - the kid, the recent ABE regen, the water fowl, the tradies' plaything, a couple of Geevegans and the only non-Warrior to win a beez since season 33. As for us, we were again represented by 19 hardy souls including the 250-gmae-playing Barrybran and one TheInjuryFactory led quiz. And a shout out for Snuffaluphagus for sharing some Grade A trade melt love.

We then rolled up to Game Day in fine conditions expecting to assume the position and, for the first half, the position was assumed with the visitors leading by 16 points at the first change and 33 at the big break. We woke up in the third quarter and kicked six goals to one to cut the lead to a single point and with 15 minutes left in the final quarter we were actually leading by 22 points.

Cue the sim.

The Gumbies then kicked six of the last seven goals to win by 16 points. This saw us drop another spot on the ladder, holding onto the top eight by our fingernails.

Others to do well include The Filth Wizard (19 disposals/10 tackles), Smoooothy (20 disposals/7 marks/2 tackles/1 goal), FootyGuy13 (26 disposals/9 marks), pantskyle (28 disposals/4 tackles), Dinsdale (17 disposals/7 marks), Reginald Perrin (19 disposals/4 tackles), The Half Back (19 disposals/2 tackles/2 marks), Freofalcon (4 goals) and yours truly (5 goals).

Round Eleven - Away vs the Bears

Two in a day. Look at me go!

Round eleven saw us back on the road, and indeed in the air, as we went to the Stadium in the Sky to face a Las Vegas outfit that were bemoaning a run of bad results. Oh my sweet summer children, you know not of these things. Come back to us when you live through generational simhousery before you shed your crocodile tears. Despite that they were generous enough hosts. How generous remained to be seen, but they were there or thereabouts. It was enough for TheInjuryFactory to raise his proverbial bat for the the first time in ages. We had our lowest turnout of the season to date, but still most clubs would kill to have a low point of 17 people in a match fred so who am I to complain?

Game Day eventually arrived and, as it turned out, the hosts weren't as generous as previously advertised. It was a close yet fluctualting match, we kicked away early to get to a 21 point lead in the first quarter before the Bears replied by getting to a 22 point lead early in the third. We came back to lead by 8 at the final change however kicking one goal in the final quarter isn't what you would consider a winning strategy and as a result the 8 point lead turned into an 8 point deficit at the end of the day. The result saw us drop out of the eight, however only by half a game with six still to play.

We copped rainy conditions which ironically led to a drought of stats. The best for us were Smoooothy (19 disposals/4 marks/2 goals), Raveneyes (15 disposals/8 hitouts/4 tackles/1 goal), ubiquitous226 (a career-high 19 disposals/3 marks/1 goal), jannissary (15 disposals/4 marks/1 goal) and zackah (3 goals).
