It’s an extension of the lie Reid mentioned in one interview that no other article has mentioned since. There was also a Facebook video floating around with Riley Beveridge saying it during trade radio but not a single source that actually ran with it after that. Looks like Adelaide pushing that lie to make them seem more reasonable when it’s clear they offered no more than a future 2nd and 3rd pick

The master trader Crom wanted to give up two firsts for Harrison Petty but were saved by Melbournes idiocy.

Maybe he's good maybe he isn't. To be honest I hadn't heard of him before this trade period. Adelaides biggest issue seems to be actually attracting good talented players rather than their trading but that is a different discussion.

My whole point is that crows supporters are far more concerned with optics than reality. You seem to be an exception who is happy to say they acted with the clubs interest at heart which included sending him through the draft, rather than trying to make the Lions out to be the bad guys with outright lies and hysteria. Lions supporters seem to struggle with the concept that more than 2 clubs can be involved in a trade.

The pick 29 offer was readily mentioned in the media with links in this thread. This was not denied by Dom, rather he rejected it as wanted our 1st round pick or a swap of 1st round picks with a future 2nd.

We also had future 2nd & 3rd rounders on offer.

The talk that we were just offered a pick in the 40s is complete lie made by many Lions supporters in this thread, because deep down they knew this was reasonable & Dom has ****ed up losing Ah Chee for nothing.
