I'm not as bullish on West. Yes he has shown flashed in the vfl but he completely lost when he played seniors.
West may end up a good AFL player but he has a long way to go. He is mid size forward like Mihocek, who thrived by having an unbelievable work rate and hunger for a contest. Can West do the same?
I don't think West will play in front of Buller, McStay or Membrey next year. He'll get a game if there are injuries.
You posted the comparison. So why don’t you explain your thinking? What do u derive from it?
None of those stats measure their respective competitiveness.
McStay averages 1.35 contested marks whilst White averaged 0.83 from AFL tables is better representation of their gap in that area but even then that doesn’t tell the full of how each player presented at the ball carrier or stood under a higher ball in a pack.

No but I would consider him more competitive than WhiteThat’s a pretty arbitrary call. Mason Cox averages 1.75 contested marks across his career and I don’t consider him more competitive than McStay.
Key forwards will generally have a higher goal average than small forwards.I thought it was interesting that Jesse White has such a bad reputation as a spud yet he kicked just as many goals per game as Bobby Hill, and he also had to play second ruck sometimes
Key forwards will generally have a higher goal average than small forwards.
The comparison is unfair.
I lost count during the 2023 GF of how many times I wished we had Jessie White out there instead of Bobby. Shattering outcomeKey forwards will generally have a higher goal average than small forwards.

That's a good analogy J. I agree with you that the anti-pineapple crew are like Jesse White and the pineapple fans have the verve and excitement of Bobby Hill.Agreed, jmac, very much in the same way that fans of pineapple will have a higher bad-meal average than people who avoid it.
This non-stop malignation of pineapple is intolerable. Pineapple is an honourable food except when it has a pizza crust inserted underneath it - usually I might add against the wishes of the pineapple...Agreed, jmac, very much in the same way that fans of pineapple will have a higher bad-meal average than people who avoid it.

The only time I would eat pineapple would be deep fried with the pineapple removed. This non-stop malignation of pineapple is intolerable. Pineapple is an honourable food except when it has a pizza crust inserted underneath it - usually I might add against the wishes of the pineapple...
That would be a pineappleless pineapple fritter? The only time I would eat pineapple would be deep fried with the pineapple removed.
Your blatant anti-pineapple prejudice is distressing but merely what one would expect from someone with such embarassing calves.
You probably love Sony too. But perhaps I am just stereo typing.
Dream on Jathanas. You could never pull that fine look off.You keep defending home-invading, machete-carrying pineapples. Your agenda is clear.
Nothing wrong with slender calfs.

I think you could pull off both slender and bulked up calves. I've gone off pineapple on pizza but I love making pineapple juice from the juicer. It's actually good for you.You keep defending home-invading, machete-carrying pineapples. Your agenda is clear.

Are you able to be specific about your middle-aged flab - is it calves? midriff? or areas you'd prefer not to mention? As much as I enjoy freshly squeezed fruit juice, I've avoided it to prevent further middle-aged flab.![]()

Sounds like you're not beefing up your baby cows. Have you tried feeding them pineapple?"Calves" can refer to either the back of the lower leg, composed of the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles, or a baby cow. The leg muscles help with walking, running, and jumping, while a baby cow is a young bovine.
I assume you're talking baby cow. That's not where the middle-age flab is hitting hard.![]()
Don’t thing so, sadly. What ever happened to Saintly? Is he still on here under another name?
