I have to say - this is far better than the Home but i've just noticed that the NRL and storm badges are rubber and not stitched

Looks SO much better - the stitching on the NRL logo always looked awful to me.

Yep 2011 - 13 was orange. 05 was too, but also 08-10 and 00-02 had two Home jerseys for Wests/Balmain

Except all of those years apart from 2011-13 had a black based jersey as part of the home and away set.

Only 2011-13 and now have orange and white based jerseys with no black based one.

No slap at all. White is the unique colour for wests, so a mainly white jersey is more connected than a black and orange one.
