There is hardcore on either side of politics that believe only there side. Swing voters exist because many have the capacity to pick the good and bad policies apart from either party and pick their best choice. To blindly assume one set of everything is left and if you hate Trump you blindly support everything is absolutely intellectual laziness. But does it really come as a surprise that the group of MAGA who blindly follow Trump project their intellectual laziness onto everyone else?

Party politics has always been to support the leader for as long as possible. And I dont mind republicans sticking up for Trump for some time until the facts are on the table. But the big question now is at what expense are republicans willing to try and sweep this under the carpet.

Things to consider.
- Trump bordering on his 80s is not long for this world. Arguably even if he is impeached now and by the time if ever he is taken to court over the Epstein Files let alone his other charges, its extremely unlikely he will ever see the inside of a court.

- Most senators and congressmen and women are in their 40s, 50s and essentially have careers ahead of them to consider. So you have to ask the question, what do they have to gain by refusing to delay the files? If anything they have everything to lose if they dont.

I do have a conspiracy about this though. Maybe we arent seeing the big picture. JD Vance! Could it be JD Vance pulling the strings for the republicans who have signed onto release the files, knowing he will get impeached and handing him the presidency. However, as we all know MAGA is only Trump and there is a civil war brewing and there is 0% chance MAGA will stand behind JD Vance.

Agree with this. There is no proof anywhere in the world that support any rumour she is male. On the back of the comments from the female boxer people speculated some countries had males compete as females. People just jumped on Khelif. To this day she has passed every test and never avoided any asked of her. What is clear is she has been embarressed internationally by the anti trans movement to suit a narrative. However the Olympic committee didnt helpt her cause by allowed trans women into the olympics to begin with.

Up to 1.7% have a Disorder of Sex Development or DSD. People with DSDs are either male or female e.g. Klinefelter's Syndrome affects males, Swyer affects females. They are not "intersex".

I've never seen someone go out of their way and twist themselves in knots over protecting a politician. You are wrong it's that simple. Do you get giggles watching Trump get away with it?
 
There are real similarities between rhetoric of Trump in the Epstein scandal and Nixon, post watergate and before he resigned. Makes for fascinating reading.

1. “No involvement” and minimizing the scandal (1973–early 1974)​


In the early phase of Watergate revelations, Nixon repeatedly distanced himself from the break-in and cover-up:


  • “I had no prior knowledge of the Watergate break-in.”
  • “I am not a crook.”
    — November 17, 1973 press conference
    This line became famous and was part of a broader argument that he had not personally profited from wrongdoing.
  • He framed the scandal as something being blown out of proportion and insisted the administration remained focused on governing.

Trump said he hardly knew Epstein, he threw him out of the club etc but were hardly friends.

2. Appeals to national unity and moving on​


Nixon frequently suggested the country needed to put Watergate behind it:


  • “One year of Watergate is enough.”
    — State of the Union, January 1974
  • He argued that the continued investigations were harmful distractions that prevented progress on foreign policy, energy issues, and the economy.
The Epstein issue is dead and buried, we need to move on is often preached by Trump at press conferences.

3. Claims of cooperation—paired with resistance​


Nixon often said he was cooperating fully, while simultaneously resisting subpoenas and asserting executive privilege:


  • “I have ordered all persons in this Administration to cooperate fully with the FBI, the prosecutors, and the grand jury.”
    — April 17, 1973

Yet he also insisted on protecting presidential confidentiality, framing the subpoena battles over the tapes as a constitutional struggle, not a personal defense.

Trump claims to have cooperated with investigations prior but this has been proven to be false. In fact he is often the only person to refuse outright any investigative conversations.

4. Framing himself as a victim of political persecution​


As impeachment grew more likely in 1974, Nixon’s language shifted:


  • He claimed there was a “politically motivated effort” to destroy his presidency.
  • He portrayed congressional investigators as acting in bad faith or with partisan motives.

This was a subtler theme in his speeches, but very clear in private statements and some public ones.

Lol, Im a victim of a democratic hoax. Again often the go to play book of Trump.

We are likely only the mid terms away now from seeing the back of Trump. Cant see Trump surviving the Epstein saga for much longer. Probably will try and ruin the USA and put his name over everything in the next 12 months and then conveniently resign.

We are watching a bunch of idiots support the elite and powerful in real time try and use their status to avoid being found guilty of being criminals. These are the same idiots that voted to weed out the deepstate and drain the swamp. Keep that in mind!

Oh if you want a laugh, ask them for evidence you are wrong.

What I dont understand is the blind allegiance. Why not just say lets release the files get it all out in the open. Let the truth come out. Why laugh it down say its innocent and use the dumbest way possible to argue by using a laugh emoji.

I DONT GIVE A **** ABOUT ANYONE BUT THE VICTIMS. Release the files! Contrary to popular belief...The potus being listed in those files is a huge deal! make no mistake. You may support a pedo running the country because it suits your politics but a crime is a crime is a crime is it not and the public should know. If Trump is innnocent what is the problem. Release the files!
