I agree, blueabroad had Bucky on as a guest and said he saw poppy’s long term future as a defender.
For a defender she sure makes a bloody good forward!!!

It’s a fantastic luxury to have right now isn’t it.
Our defence is very strong as it is. So while there’s no need to utilise poppy back there atm, why not make our forward line even stronger.
Not many teams out there that can shut down poppy/boh/austin all at the same time. Thats why where becoming a really good team imo
We have quality everywhere.

Poppy Scholz’s birthday is the 31st of December. She is clearly the youngest player in the competition.

That is simply scary! Size, athleticism, pace, skills, the term “unicorn” is appropriate. Sign her to a ten year deal. Must retain Poppy at all costs. (Sign her sister?)

Her sister is an incredible player already at the age of 20yrs, with about 18 months difference between them…

She has played beyond her age, for a first year player whose played well at both ends, incredibly impressive..

Both she and her sister are going dominate for the next decade, Sophie has looked just as good as well, particularly as the season has progressed…
